I had a blast taking a tour around the Burlington, Vermont makerspace called Generator. Full-blown makerspace on Pine Street in B-town. Wow! I snapped some pictures of some machines that we may want to include in the SJA Jeju makerspace going forward. Many things were interesting, but the following was most interesting:
- Because of the wide variety of other makers talents and the ability to prototype most anything, members help each other solve problems.
- Generator doesn’t own any of the IP of created products. The space is run via membership fees, classes, and philanthropy.
